Logs and forms - how to fill out a profile form
Purpose of LOGs
This section provides a detailed explanation of the "Logs" page in the app and guides users on how to navigate and use its features effectively. Current page shows the logs and forms for the last 14 days.
As, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has established regulations concerning driver logs and their certification, primarily through the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) rule. This rule mandates that commercial motor vehicle drivers required to maintain Records of Duty Status (RODS) must use ELDs to record their hours of service (HOS).
Motor carriers are required to use only ELDs that are self-certified by the manufacturer and listed on the FMCSA's registered ELDs list. This ensures that the devices meet the necessary technical standards and are compliant with FMCSA regulations - (49 CFR 395, subpart B).
