How to Install the App

Introduction

This guide will help you to install the Mobile App on your smartphone, ensuring you're ready to start working with our system.

Perquisites

Compatibility:

  • iPhone: iOS 13.4 or later
  • iPad: iPadOS 13.4 or later
  • iPod touch: iOS 13.4 or later
  • Mac: iOS 13.0.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later.
  • Apple Vision: OS 1.0 or later
  • Android 12 and later

Sufficient storage space needed for the app:

  • Android: 70 MB

  • iOS: 48.6 MB

Step-by-Step Instructions

Or Search for the App - go to Play Store application from your home screen and search for “MGK ELD” in the search bar 

    • Install the App -  press the “Install” button and wait for the Installation to complete.

    • Open the App - press “Open“ button once the installation is complete to start using the App.

  • For iOS Devices:



    • Install the App -  press the “Install” button and wait for the Installation to complete.

    • Open the App - press “Open“ button once the installation is complete to start using the App.

  • Grant necessary permissions

    • Allow to send you Notifications -allow to be able to accept the Notifications in the App

    • Allow to use your location - allow to be able to automatically detect your location for logs and DVIR reports


Common Installation Issues

  • Issue: “App not found in the store“ 

    • Solution: “Make sure that your device meets the minimum requirements of OS version and storage space. Try to refreshing the Store.

    • Solution: “Make sure that you have a stable internet connection and enough storage space on your device.“

  • Is the app free to download?

    • Yes, the mobile app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play Store. 

  • Can I install the app on multiple devices?

    • Yes, but you can be logged in to one device at a time to be able to connect to ELD and start logging.

  • What happens to my data if I uninstall the app? 

    • Your account data is stored securely on our servers

    • Reinstalling the app and logging in will restore your information

  • How do I update the app? 

    • Enable automatic updates in your device's app store settings

    • Or manually update through the App Store/Play Store
